Resolve public issues with sensitivity and promptness: Yogi

Wednesday, 28 May 2025 | Satish Tripathi | Gorakhpur

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who arrived in Gorakhpur on Monday evening, met the public during Janta Darshan on Tuesday morning after spending the night at the Gorakhnath temple.

He listened to their concerns attentively and directed the officials to address these issues with sensitivity and urgency. “There should be no negligence in resolving these matters,” he stated. The Chief Minister emphasised that the resolution of public issues must be qualitative, transparent, and satisfactory. He reminded the officials that addressing the problems of the people is the Government’s primary responsibility. During the Janta Darshan held in front of the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan in the Gorakhnath temple complex, CM Yogi personally met approximately 250 people, hearing each of their concerns. He assured them that everyone would receive justice. Referring each application to the  relevant officials with clear instructions for prompt resolution, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured the public that the Government is fully committed to addressing the concerns of every individual in need. He firmly told the officials that no person should face injustice. “Every complainant must be treated with empathy and respect,” he said. Emphasising strict enforcement, the Chief Minister directed that those involved in illegal land occupation or in displacing the vulnerable must face firm legal action without exception.

Many people approached the Chief Minister during Janta Darshan seeking financial assistance for medical treatment. CM Yogi assured them that the Government would fully support their treatment.

He handed their applications to the officials, instructing them to expedite the estimation process for treatment costs.

Some women had attended the Janta Darshan with their children. The Chief Minister lovingly blessed the children with chocolates and wished them a bright future. A girl, accompanied by her mother, expressed her gratitude for the CM’s heartfelt efforts in resolving their issues. CM Yogi, in a gesture of kindness, stroked her forehead and reassured her that no one would need to worry under his leadership.
