Sensation prevailed in Oriya Basti after a 20-year-old youth was found hanging dead from a tree in a temple premises under Chola Mandir police station area on Tuesday.
Police said that Anshu Wankhede was found hanging from a tree in a temple within the Oriya Basti.
Anshu, a hotel housekeeper, had left his home late Monday night to sleep at a friend’s house which he used to do oftenly. A neighbor performing Surya Namaskar at 5 a.m. spotted the body and promptly alerted Anshu’s family and the police.
