43-member Task Force to implement NEP 2020

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is India’s first education policy of the 21st century, aimed at transforming the educational system to meet the goals of sustainable development. In Madhya Pradesh, the School Education Department is implementing the NEP-2020 with focus on aligning school education with Indian traditions, cultural values, and modern global objectives.

The policy emphasises the development of good human beings with rational thinking, compassion, resilience, scientific temper, imagination, and strong ethical values. School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh states that NEP promotes inclusive education while respecting India's cultural and social diversity and balancing local and global educational needs.

Under the chairmanship of the School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh, a 43-member Task Force including educationists and officials from government and private schools has been constituted to implement NEP-2020.
