Thursday, 09 January 2025 | Staff Reporter | BHOPAL

Commotion broke out outside Vallabh Bhawan II on Wednesday after a snake was spotted inside a parked car belonging to a senior IAS officer.

The incident occurred after Raghuraj MR returned to the administrative block following a meeting of university vice-chancellors at the Raj Bhavan.

State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) personnel were requisitioned to rid the vehicle, parked in front of Gate number nine, of the serpent which had apparently slithered into the parked car through the bonnet.

The rocky vicinity of the secretariat is framed by shrubbery. Residents say that snake sightings are not uncommon however this is the first time that the stealthy reptile had made its way into one of the many vehicles that park here.
