Shah to visit State on Oct 12

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah would be on two-dayvisit to Chhattisgarh on October 12 and 13.

During his visit, Shah would be interacting directly with party workers and leaders.

As part of preparation for the meetings, State BJP President Dharamlal Kaushik is already touring Durg district while party’s State General Secretary Santosh Pandey and Vice President Sunil Soni are on tour of Jagdalpur.

Shah will have interaction with party’s booth workers of four revenue divisions, mainly Ambikapur, Bilaspur, Jagdalpur and Raipur.

As per scheduled programme, the Durg division workers’ meeting would be held at Raipur. The party has been focussing on its 65 plus target of seats, and is working to further strengthen the booth level organisation.

A party statement issued here informed that the Shah would interact with a total of 23,632 booth-level workers directly. On October 12, he will hold meeting at Ambikapur for Surguja division and at Bilaspur for Bilaspur division. Next day on October 13, Shah will meet booth-level workers of Bastar division at Jagdalpur and at afternoon hours at Raipur for Raipur and Durg division.

For ensuring maximum participation of booth-level workers, the BJP state-level office bearers are already touring the state and holding discussions with BJP party workers, office-bearers and public representatives.
