In view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) has extended the grace period for renewal of general trade and storage license, factory license, health trade license up to March 31, 2021 without penalty and interest.
East Delhi Mayor Anju Kamalakant said that the civic body is trying to provide uninterrupted civic services to the citizens even in this difficult time. She further said that the license renewed after 30 June 2020 will be liable to pay penalty, interest as applicable as the policy of EDMC.
