The administration of Vinoba Bhave University has decided to open the chancellor portal to fill the vacant seats in the colleges on the demand of students. The last date of online admission is 19th October. The certificate verification will be between 13 to 19 October.

The vice chancellor of the university Mukul Naryan Dev said that the students’ leaders are demanding for opening the chancellor portal for the new admission in the different colleges. He said that the university administration had started the online process of admission for the session 2022-26 from 15th September.

After providing admission facility to the students, the seats in the model colleges, affiliated colleges and constituent college seats are still vacant. Due to vacant seats and students' demand the university has decided to re- open the chancellor portal.

The vice chancellor further said that those who had not come in the merit of and did not get the chance of admission they can also fresh apply in the portal. He said that admission in the affiliated colleges are very poor, because affiliated colleges are self -financed and all the expenses meet with the amount which the college received from the admission of the students.

He further said that after applying in the chancellor portal if the candidates will not verify between the prescribed date then their admission will be cancelled. The VC said that we are trying to provide the maximum chances to the students for admission because the private universities are charging huge amounts from the students on account of admission, which is not possible for every student and poor students.

He further said that the students can fill the online form with the chancellor to 8th October at 6 pm. The first merit list will be published by the university on 12th October.  The verification of documents will be started in the concerned colleges.
