Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has said that Ayushman Bharat Health Account (Abha) Digital Health ID will play an important role in the delivery of health services.
This will facilitate the delivery of specialized health services to the patients and in case of emergency, medical decisions can be taken quickly when the patient's health information is easily available.
Shukla created his own Abha ID in the Ministry. He has appealed to the citizens to get Abha ID made."Abha-ID" is being made free of cost in all government health institutions.To provide complete information about their medical treatment to the patients, unique health ID Ayushman Bharat Health Account (Aabha) is being created daily in all government health institutions.
This ID, being created under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, will provide all the details of the treatment given to the patient. Abha ID is made free of cost in government hospitals. For this, the beneficiary is required to bring his Aadhar card and mobile number linked to Aadhar. Aabha ID can also be created manually through the app.Through Ayushman Bharat Health Account (Aabha) Digital Health ID, the patient will be able to get all the information about the previously given treatment.
During the treatment of the patient, any hospital or doctor will be able to get information through this ID about which diseases the patient is already suffering from and what treatment has been given to him. Aabha ID is a 14 digit unique number through which patients can get their pathology reports, prescriptions and treatments digitally. <
In a way, this ID is the digital health record of the patient. Due to which the patient will be able to get better treatment services.Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is a flagship scheme of the Government of India. Its objective is to promote digital health in the country. Through this, the facility to safely store and access medical records will be available.
Accurate information about health institutions and service providers, providing the option to access remote health services through teleconsultation and e-pharmacy, providing access to health care providers to a patient's medical history, improving patient continuity of care, medical benefits like improving claims and medical reimbursement, helping in upgrading healthcare services.
