The day temperatures have started to be witnessed above normal in more than 25 cities of Madhya Pradesh which also include Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur.
Narmadapuram, Seoni and Mandla remained the hottest. On Tuesday Mandla recorded 36.6 degree celsius which was the highest day temperature of the state while in 19 cities the temperature was recorded at 34 degrees or more. There will be heat but after this it is expected to be cloudy for next days.
According to the Weather Centre, Bhopal a Western Disturbance is becoming active from March 12. Its impact will be visible in the state. There will be clouds at some places. This may cause the day temperature to drop by 2 to 3 degrees. The weather will remain like this for 2 days, but after the system passes, the temperature will increase again. After March 15, the sun will remain scorching hot.
According to meteorologists, summer starts in March. There is a trend of intense heat in the last days of this month. This time also the weather is similar. In the last few days, the day temperature can reach beyond 40 degrees in most of the cities of the state including Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Jabalpur. However, even before this the temperature is above normal. This is because no system is active yet.
During the last 24 hours, the weather remained mainly dry in the districts of all the divisions of the state. There was no significant change in day temperatures in the districts of all the divisions. They were more than normal in the districts of Narmadapur, Ujjain, Jabalpur, Sagar divisions and normal in the districts of all the remaining divisions.
The night temperature increased significantly in the districts of Bhopal division and there was no significant change in the temperature in the districts of all the remaining divisions. They remained above normal in the districts of Shahdol division and normal in the districts of all the remaining divisions.
