Light rains likely in 29 districts of the State on Feb 25 and 26

Strong system would become active again in Madhya Pradesh on February 25 and 26. Due to this, there will be light rain with thunder and cloud cover in 29 districts including Bhopal and Jabalpur.

At the same time, the weather is expected to be clear in Indore-Ujjain. Before this, there will be cloudy weather on 23-24 February also. There will be coolness due to jet stream.

Meteorologist said that currently the cyclonic circulation system is active over Chhattisgarh. At the same time, the trough line is also passing. Because of this, moisture is coming to the state from the Bay of Bengal. Due to this, the period of light rain continues.

Another Western Disturbance is becoming active in North India from the night of 24th February. Its effect will be visible in the state from February 25. The impact of the system will be greater on 26th February.

On February 25 light rain is expected in Seoni, Balaghat, while thunderstorm conditions will prevail in Narmadapuram, Betul, Chhindwara, Narsinghpur, Dindori and Mandla.

Bhopal, Sehore, Dewas, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Harda, Betul, Chhindwara, Narsinghpur, Narmadapuram, Raisen, Sagar, Vidisha, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Jabalpur, Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori, Umaria, Katni, Panna, Satna would witness

 light rainfall with thunder and lightning

Even before the system, light rain continues in many districts of the state. There was light rain in Damoh and Sidhi on Thursday.

Temperature in many districts including Bhopal, Indore, Guna

Due to the jet stream, a drop in day temperature was seen in many districts of the state on Thursday. The day temperature in Bhopal was 27.7 degrees. There was a drop of 3.2 degrees in a single day. Maximum mercury was recorded at 27.8 degrees in Indore, 26.7 degrees in Gwalior, 29 degrees in Ujjain and 28.4 degrees in Jabalpur.

Pachmarhi was the coldest in the state on Thursday. The day temperature here was recorded at 23.2 degrees. There has been a drop of 2.2 degrees in 24 hours. It was 24.3 degrees in Raisen, 26 degrees in Tikamgarh, 26.2 degrees in Shivpuri, 26.3 degrees in Guna, 26.8 degrees in Khajuraho.

Khandwa had the highest temperature at 33.1 degrees were recorded here during the day. The temperature was 30.3 degrees in Narmadapuram, 32.8 degrees in Khargone and 32.8 degrees in Narsinghpur.
